This should urgently be looked into to avoid the accumulation of architectural faults that might lead you to purchasing a new sliding window or door altogether. The common faults with these sliding products are a consequence of the malfunctioning rollers. Overtime, the wheels of these rollers become damaged as a result of continuous attrition. If not replaced, these damaged rollers graze and scrape off the bottom track. Thereafter, the perpetual use of the sliding door compromises its structural integrity; the wheel sash, upright profiles and handles begin to fragment, loosening the screws holding the profiles together. Thus, it is advised to repair the rollers and bottom track immediately to avoid further damage to the whole system.
